As alluded to in a previous section, there is no separate MiLB system. If the services of a MiLB player are desired from season to season, their services must be acquired in the auction and they must go through the same price escalation process as everyone else.
Everyone is available in the auction, as long as they have some official baseball affiliation. I was going to say owners can even bid on themselves - or on Kazuo Uzuki (if you don't get it, that's why Google exists), but I'd rather not leave space for people to make a mockery of things.
If we expand, new owners will have to just get in where they fit in as far as salaries. They'll have $260 and can have anyone who's a FA, but can't get in on people who existing owners keep. If we contract, all players from contracted teams will become unrestricted FAs.
