Per rule: If an owner wins enough free agents to go over the roster limit, they will have 24 hours to get back under the limit. If the owner does not get back under the limit, the owner will lose the money spent on that player's contract and not get it back if the player signs with another team.

See, this is how things can get real messy real fast. Royals (Hotshot) didn't get back within the roster limit, but Matt's bids are invalid because they would put him over the cap. Clay Hensley is a Grumbler at a salary of $1MM.
